HEALING & EVOLVING: The Luminous way

Often, I am asked an excellent question: Is there a time frame for how long the healing journey takes, or does it last a lifetime?

My understanding is that it is not a one-size-fits-all timeline; duration depends on numerous factors: the nature and severity of numerous wounds, readiness and willingness to engage and do the healing work; having supportive relationships and a community can aid in the healing process.

The healing journey is not a straight line. It's a complex process with twists, turns, and setbacks. It's normal to experience periods of regression or to have old pain resurface when triggered. These moments are not a sign of failure but rather an opportunity for deeper understanding and growth.

I decided to write my perspective on healing: 🤍✨️HEALING & EVOLVING: THE LUMINOUS WAY✨️🤍

Healing isn't a final destination; there is no endgame. It's not about reaching a "finish line", but about embracing the process of growth and transformation.

It's a forever school, a learning process. It's not a passive hope or wish, but a series of deliberate decisions.

Healing is the natural unfolding of self-awareness, discovering what you've avoided, buried, or rejected from your shadows. It's consciously addressing unhealthy habits, self-sabotage, and inner wounds.

Healing is an ongoing commitment to personal growth and self-compassion. Developing and using tools to stay balanced and centred. Ultimately, the overall journey of becoming a more whole, resilient, and authentic person is continuous.

Healing is realising that it is not your job to overcompensate for others’ inner wounds and spiritual bypassing by choosing to avoid doing their shadow work or face their Soul. No one is entitled to perpetual access to your energy.

Healing requires an understanding of the Universal Laws—chiefly, correspondence, inspired action, perpetual transmutation of energy, and cause and effect. It's creating new life-supporting neural pathways that promote cognitive flexibility and cultivate positive self-talk, so your actions, emotions, and thoughts support your well-being.

Healing is taking a magnifying glass to your social relationships, environment, and lifestyle to establish healthy boundaries. It's finally moving on from people in your life who are committed to misunderstanding you or taking your empathy, efforts, roles, and purpose for granted.

Healing is applying discernment and calling your power back, cutting cords from those who syphon your light energy for greed, selfish reasons, or to feed their egos. It's the balance of your inner peace in the face of Machiavellian, or narcissistic behaviour that comes with a position at the top of a puppeteered pyramid of control, deceit, manipulation, and rewards.

Healing is comprehending that this world is composed of darkness, greyscale, and light—and that experiencing it all weaves a rich tapestry of the Soul's journey. It's knowing that we co-create our reality and love in proportion to our Inner Work, how deeply we have connected with our Self.

Healing is a soft returning, where you meet your most authentic, loving, and whole Self. It's seeing the unmasked you in the mirror and recognising yourself again—that version before the world told you who you should be and how your life should look.
